  I have two bank accounts. One with Arvest and one with AFCU. Let me say, I love the fact that when I call Arvest I ALWAYS get a person immediately when I call, NOT an automated system. I don't have to wait ten to twenty minutes to talk to someone. I don't have to go through hoops to get to a live person. I just think its ridiculous that I can't call a branch and talk to someone. The card a lady gave me, it goes straight to voicemail EVERYTIME. Had a company on the line that needed to talk to my bank and I gave them the number off the card, went straight to voicemail when they tried to connect the call. AFCU took four days for this fancy system update, what they should have updated was their customer service, because that makes or breaks you. I will be looking for another credit union. I don't have time to NOT get in touch with my bank. I have always had two banks and one a credit union, clearly I chose wrong when choosing AFCU.

  First off the other reviews about this bank are accurate, the call center is a joke and I often feel like they're making decisions without caring how it will effect their customers, but this branch is the best branch I've ever dealt with in any financial institution. The drive-up girl knew my name and my usual transaction about a week after I started coming there and she remembers little details about my life like I'm talking to a friend even if I don't see her in a month. Their service is excellent, I'm dinging them a star because the bank as a whole needs to get their crap together.
